went back to my parents hometown for the holidays with the fam..
of course aside from making our usual visit to the grandparents house, we also went batik hunting for most part of the trip..
{BATIK : a cloth which traditionally uses manual wax-resist dyeing technique}
after searching the highs and lows of both cities, Jogjakarta and Solo, I was finally familiarize with the different patterns of batik..mostly common ones though seeing that there are sooo many variations out there..
it turned out to be quite the learning experience!!
FYI for those interested in knowing more about batik and happens to be in Solo should definitely check out "Museum Batik Danar Hadi"..
