Today's post is nothing new. i'm sure you're all probably familiar with the typical "what's inside your bag" post so i thought i might hop on the bandwagon and share what's in mine. just like any other girls out there i can not survive without those large bags because obviously they're just more practical. these bags are basically made to store everything from make up, bottled water up to emergency flats in the event we would need to change from those sky high heels. the thing though with large bags is that i have a bad habit of throwing in junk i don't need which end ups it getting pretty heavy. eventually, heavy bags equals aching shoulders or at least in my case.

to avoid this, i've refrained from using large bags lately. instead, when i don't need to lug around my humongous camera i'd rather go for small purses or clutches. now little bags means less space..duh! thus i found my self editing the insides of my large bag which turned out to be quite tricky. for the most part, i traded in my wallet for a mini card holder because most wallets can get a bit plumply and take up too much space. besides i don't usually carry much cash so as long as i have my Credit Card and ATM then i'm good to go. as for the rest of the items i guess it's pretty self explanatory :)

ever since i saw Emma Stone strut the red carpet in her peach Calvin Klein dress at the Globes my jaw immediately dropped. one thing that came to mind was that i needed something similar - color wise in my closet. despite the mixed reviews she had endured i thought the dress was perfect for her. amongst the ocean of pouffy bedazzled dresses, i was glad she was able to offer something more youthful but still elegant in a more minimalistic way. thus on the hunt I went and look what i found....by all means it's far from any red carpet dress but instead of going all the way red carpet ready i thought of taking a more casual approach. something wearable for day to day purpose, so this peachy maxi was a perfect fit combined with a denim vest and comfy shoes :)

how was your Easter weekend? spent mine outdoors connecting with nature, where i managed to comeback with a couple of minor bruises and loads of muddy clothes...seems like nature hates me ;P

when it comes to choosing a party dress, i can be somewhat complicated. i don't mean to be a prude but dressing all scantily clad is just not my thing hence i usually opt to look for something cute and simple with minor details yet still has an edge to it without looking way too sexy. how confusing, right :) of course, i have nothing against those micro mini sexy bodycon dresses...so if your into that whole look then more power to you! i guess it's the mere fact that i need to be realistic because those kind of dresses simply doesn't cater to my body type. let's face it, if it's not flattering and makes you uncomfortable then why force it?
one major thing though that i always keep in mind is deciding what i want to showcase, if it's the legs then i try to avoid dresses that expose the top half too much and the same way around, if i want to show a bit of skin up top then i try to keep the bottom half covered :) personally, i think by not revealing too much adds a bit of mystery. now who doesn't love some mystery in their life, right?

a quick break from outfit post but i'm really excited about the upcoming Asia Fashion Exchange event held in Singapore from may 11th to the 22nd. it's basically 11 days of fashion madness that i'm constantly hoping to participate in and since they're in search of four bloggers that will be able to cover the event, i'm going to use this opportunity to take a shot at my sad marketing skills and shamelessly plug myself ;) so do pardon if this post may bore you but it's kind of a big deal so here goes....

as a fashion enthusiast, i feel that this event will be such a great learning experience. i believe that this is so much more than just attending fashion shows but rather about developing new rising talents and learning the business side of fashion, things that most of us often take lightly. it's truly a huge achievement to see how quickly the Asian fashion industry is emerging and to be able to have the opportunity to meet the people who are responsible in making this happen would be equally amazing. i feel this is the perfect time to bring attention to the whole Asian fashion scene and for that matter i fully support it. therefore if i'm lucky enough to be chosen hopefully i'll be able to do my part and share this rare experience to a wider audience in hopes that the world will finally acknowledge that asia's fashion industry is a force to be reckoned with...

oh my is it still award seasons :) a big thanks to Catherine from modealite who kindly sent me this award quite some time ago. in accordance to this, supposedly i'm asked to list 8 things about me..I guess it's about time you folks know my weird habits ;p

I despise flip flops...unless i just got out of a nail salon or on my way to the beach, i believe it serves no other purpose hence should not be worn.

I enjoy watching fashion related documentaries.

I'm really short and it's not even funny...i don't know how short exactly but definitely way below the 160 cm mark.

I collect souvenir bells from different places i've traveled to..how dorky is that! so far my collection is up to 45 bells.

I'm an extremely picky shoe shopper...sometimes i think it would be easier if i just have them custom made instead.

I like making to do list...strangely i find it to be quite fun and it keeps you on track.

I never brush my hair which explains why it's always messy all the time ;) not that i recommend this but i find it pointless so i usually either blow dry it or just let it dry out by itself.

of course i had to try my fair share of color blocking or better yet, in man repelling terms best known as cock blocking :) apparently yellow fever has struck and it's been quite contagious. this kind of reminds me of the yellow phase i went through growing up which was due to my childhood obsession towards The Power Rangers (ring a bell?) you guessed it..i was a yellow ranger fan. she's got some sick moves and her saber-toothed tiger was pretty bad ass but mostly because she happens to be the only asian of the group haha...the effect that show had on me lasted for a whole year starting from dressing head to toe in yellow up to taking karate classes...pretty bizarre huh?! that just goes to show what too much TV could do to a kid ;P

...at least that's according to 30 rock's, Avery Jessup. not as if I stomp ground in heels all the time but when I do sashay in them, the higher the heels the better. don't get me wrong as much as I like to stay close to land as I possibly can, when it comes to them heels those kitten ones never seem to do the trick for me. it's either go big or go home, in this case barefoot most likely :)

I've had these babies for over a year yet this is my second time wearing them. they're actually quite comfy though not exactly easy to walk in considering my core balance stability is sadly inadequate, thus precautionary measures needs to be taken before hand. nonetheless, I still love them <3<3<3

My first post of 2011.. I question whether this topic is still relevant or not but I would feel terribly guilty if I didn't start off this post by greeting you all a good ol' fashion "Happy New Year!". I rang in the New Year at home stuck with the sniffles which was sort of perfect cause I got the chance to finally catch up on a couple of movies i've been missing out on (ex: Inception anyone?!).

Fashion wise, i've been keeping it easy and casual these days mostly gravitating towards a monochromatic color scheme. it might sound boring but actually makes accessorizing your outfit all the more fun. this time it was blue...i'm considering grey or camel next, let's see how that goes ;P

It's probably apparent by now that I tend to slack off when it comes to updating this blog. Though this time there's a good reason for doing so..really there is! I've been hopping around from one airport to another lately so dressing cute nor taking outfit pics aren't really an option. now I get why young Hollywood are usually caught traveling with their sweats on on TMZ. of course that doesn't apply to Lady Gaga and Mrs. Beckham..praise those ladies!

I can't begin to say what a relief it is to finally be done with being on the road. though it wasn't long until I decided to make a quick run to the mall. turns out as I was going through my shoe closet, I came to realize my lack of height have made me crazy obsessed with platforms that I haven't got any decent running shoes. Thus I was on the hunt for a pair, in hopes that a proper jogging sneakers can motivate me to workout continuously. well we gotta start somewhere right so why not with new shoes :) but for now I think the only walking I'll be doing is some blogwalking instead. got back from the trip utterly exhausted instead of feeling relaxed. I know I shouldn't be complaining but it was burning HOT and the lack of wind made the heat all the more unbearable..indeed I was completely roasted, I kid you not! also my plans to check out Hussein Chalayan's exhibition and do some vintage shopping resulted into a total fail...bohoo! But nothing that a good'ol all you can eat Baklava can't fix =)

managed to take hundreds of photos yet I still don't think my pictures were able to capture how extremely enchanting Istanbul is. I guess some memories are just best kept in the head and cherished with the heart.

Pardon the sudden hiatus, I had to come to terms with the fact that technology hates me. Indeed my laptop is acting up again. Geez..I'm completely technologically challenged so give a poor girl a break! Of course for now, I have to depend upon hijacking someone else's laptop just to give word to all you earthlings that i'm still alive even though I've been under the weather lately :c These pics were meant to be posted awhile back but considering the circumstances it was just not possible. Though I was fortunate enough to salvage them before my laptop decided to give up on me.

Yes..I'm fully aware that my top is all wrinkly. This is what happens when you have little time yet rather put off ironing for the sake of taking outfit pics..that's just proof of how wise I am folks ;p The skirt I got for a stinking 5 euro..it has a nice print and with that price who needs to think twice.

finally managed to sneak out a bit and take advantage of the summer sale. though I wasn't quite too pleased with the outcome. what's that? more shopping trips you say? oh golly I hope there will be...

surely never thought I'd be this excited over a football match considering I wasn't really into the World Cup fever to begin with. however these past games have been pretty insane and watching the semi-finals was equally intense! I have to embarrassingly admit that there has even been a bunch of crazy screaming and awkward cursing on my part. Yes, I've officially succumb to the wild crowd that shamelessly root over a bunch of dudes fighting over a ball and with finals coming up it's definitely about to get even more serious. Regardless of Paul the Octopus prediction about an expected Spanish fiesta by the end of the 2010 world cup, I'm still hopeful and crossing my fingers for a Holland victory!

dreaming of white sandy beaches and shopping spree's unfortch I'm completely swamped and only have either Chinese or Italian takeouts to look forward to..how tragic! though I managed to catch half of last Friday's football match, surely wasn't planning to tune in but got heavily distracted by all the wild screams, noisy horns and exploding fire crackers out my window (yes! it was that bizarre out here) eventually I caved in. a pretty exciting game between Brazil and the Netherlands..I don't necessarily root for a certain team but i'm making an exception ;P hup Holland hup..we're so close, bring that trophy home!

here's my attempt to break out in some color this summer. The fabric of this dress is extremely light which is great for hot days. however I'm finding it very uncooperative towards the wind..it forced me to be extra careful just to avoid any "Marilyn moment". Oooh the sacrifices we make in the name of fashion ;p

yes..I do realize summer is nearing as we speak (or has it actually arrived already?) and black isn't exactly summer's choice of color. Of course plenty would opt for a more brighter and softer color including satisfying their urge of wearing tribal and florals prints. This goes for me too..I, as well, do try to stay clear of wearing too much black which I'm finding out to be quite hard. However I don't necessarily feel the need to stash away those black pieces that mainly dominate my closet. After all black is timeless..I mean you don't see Karl sporting bright neon floral prints during summer, do you?

I really try to avoid talking about myself but I have no where else to vent but here. Yes Lilo, I can finally sing-a-long to your tune..

Rumors!! it amazes me how easily people eat it up..what makes it even worse is the nerves of those who ignorantly starts spreading them out without even bothering to get their facts straight first. What is this? Some sick soap opera? well uh uh, I refuse to take part in such drama circus. Seriously, I could careless whatever nice reasoning they use to justify their actions..call me cynical cause I don't buy it! So how does one best handle this? Beats me! I'm not a confrontational person..I'd prefer to keep my silence and not address it whatsoever. It might not be the best solution but if reaction is what they're looking for, then why bother giving them that satisfaction? Just so they can have more to talk about? I'm way better than that..I'd rather just stay refined and elegant and let them all fall to the wayside.

Enough of me bitchin' out, let's just move on to a less annoying matter. So I was never really on board with the whole denim on denim craze. Nothing against it but it was just too much denim for me or so I thought it was. Of course that was until I had an epiphany from the great fashion gods where I discovered my new found love towards denim. It's quite funny how I used to consider pairing them together as a big no no in my book to actually not being able to get enough of it now..oh the irony! I guess you have to be more open minded in trying out new things when it comes to fashion =)

The picture above is my sad attempt at making dinner. As you can see I'm not much of a cook. I'm used to living off of take outs and frozen foods, also the fact that I actually enjoy junk food doesn't help me much in the cooking department..terrible I know! No wonder I'm clueless in the kitchen...Though I am considering of broadening my cooking skills so I can breakaway from my basic use of ingredients that only revolves among salt, pepper, onion and actually add some new flavor flave into the mix. Maybe nothing too fancy yet, after all it's probably best to start with something easy first. Any simple recipes that I should try out?

Went out for brunch at my fave bagel joint..I'm completely addicted with their chocolaty coffee beans, they're like crack! once I start popping them in my mouth, somehow I can't seem to stop ;p
I wanted to take advantage of the bright sunny day and made a daring attempt on wearing just plain shorts without any layering...What a smart ass, apparently it wasn't warm enough to go barelegged yet. As I was about to continue on my day after enjoying a plate of tuna melt bagels and a cup of chai latte, the wind practically forced me to run back home just so I can put on some tights underneath..Lesson of the day: Don't let the sun fool you!

Talk about global chaos! Hopefully none of you are stranded in some airport or have family/friends who are..The aftermath of Iceland's volcanic eruption has certainly screwed a number of people over but let's just all hope that the clouds of dark ashes will soon clear up, so that everyone can get to their respective destination safe and sound. Despite the whole talk of eruptions and ashes over the past few days, the weather out here has been quite the opposite for me. It was nothing but clear blue skies all through the week which i'm pretty sure tempted a bunch of us to spend more time outdoors..now if only it was a bit warmer though ;P
On another note, I caught a glimpse of the funeral service of Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife earlier today. It was a beautiful ceremony. May the President and first lady including all other victims of the plane crash rest in peace.

I can't help but get into a very stalker-ish mode during fashion week for this gal. It's kind of weird considering that you're supposed to be more excited towards the shows rather than who attends them but I'll certainly make an exception when it comes to Miroslava Duma. What can I say..I'm too infatuated by miro's style that it would be wrong if I didn't give a proper round up of her Paris fashion week attire. Her style evolves so often through times that I constantly wonder what she's going to whip up next. Ok now.. I think it's best that I stop gushing over my style crush before I start scaring any of you out :)

Wow!! I didn't expect that there would be a bunch of mixed reviews regarding my last post but it's all good. We have to learn to agree to disagree right :) So just a few facts to clear up:

Yes..I can assure you she is a she. The model is Iselin Steiro and the photos were shot by David Sims
Yes..I do agree, she does resemble Steven Tyler and maybe a touch of Captain Jack Sparrow-esque added into the mix..yes??
Yes..the jacket she's wearing is indeed the ridiculously priced BALMAIN jacket
I personally don't necessarily think the photos were scary, I do though find it quite intriguing. The odd rough messy styling and her masculine posture was what appealed to me the most but that's just me, I guess imperfections are amusing to me.

Enough of that, I've been constantly searching for the perfect tribal print dress with a hint of a bohemian feel but haven't been lucky enough to even come close to actually finding one yet. So I'm starting to consider of making one instead. I thought it might suit me better as well since my measurements aren't exactly model like either. It's still an idea though so I haven't actually thought it through on how I'm going to pull this off haha.. FYI the one I'm wearing isn't exactly what I have pictured in mind my dream dress would be like; heck it isn't even a dress to begin with but it was cheap so what the hell. I thought I might use my imagination and give a shot at being creative for once..did it work??

It's been more or less a week as I finally got some down time to actually post something here. Hopefully you all are doing well. Last weekend I visited this secondhand shop on my way home and found this "Pink Floyd" Band tee. The wicked design on the tee was what definitely caught my eye. Honestly I'm not familiar with their music whatsoever, all I'm aware of is that they're this huge English rock band from the early 60's and 70's and that's pretty much it. In order to avoid the notion of being ignorant, I googled them once I got home and listen to a couple of their tracks. It's pretty hardcore! I haven't exactly found one that I'm necessarily into yet but I guess it's just me. I may not understand their music and their sound might not be my cup of tea but I am trying to approach it with an open mind. So if any of you happens to be a fan of theirs and can recommend me any song of theirs that I should probably check out..I'm all ears =)

it's been a week since the passing of the great McQueen, as the fashion world might still continue to mourn over his death, one begins to question the fate of the Alexander McQueen brand. Even though some sources stated that the McQueen business will continue despite the founders suicide, question is will anyone truly be able to continue on his legacy? and even equipped with a strong design team will it actually be able to live up to the brands well known high standards from its predecessors? I know it might seem early to be discussing this and some may feel that it's a bit inappropriate considering the circumstances but I just can't help but wonder. The brand itself was built upon his brilliant vision and strong image, I feel that this is his legacy and it would be devastating to see it plummet in the future. I guess only time will tell but I do hope that they'll be able to do him justice and make him proud. Well enough of my two cents :)

At this point, I refuse to mourn instead I'd prefer to remember him by celebrating his life through all the things he has contributed to the fashion world and just be grateful to have such an influential figure during our era.

Does fashion still matters?

I'm very much still hibernating at the moment and haven't been in the dressing up mood lately, sweats and hoodies have completely taken over my life hence the lack of outfit pictures. At least, the snow is practically gone now but instead were replaced by dark clouds (a bit ironic isn't it as to how my pictures turned out to be so bright in the end and I didn't even use my photoshop skills either ;p) ..no fun!! It's already bad enough we have to deal with the cold but rain and wind just makes it even worse. Since it seems that spring is still no where in sight and obviously I won't be able to wear these heels out anytime soon, so I thought I'll just wear them in the comfort of my own room instead :)

Oohh and regarding the question I used on my title post, well here's an interview taken from the commonwealth club last year of American Vogue fashion news and feature's director, Sally Singer. It's an old interview and the interview goes for about an a hour but I found it mostly fascinating especially the part where she insinuated a level of dissent to the idea as to why people consider fashion to be somewhat intimidating. A fall from grace...

So much for being cautious!! The one thing that i've been constantly reminding myself unfortunately happened. Yes I can now officially say that I've experienced the sweet taste of cold wet pavement. But no worries I managed to live :) Lucky for me it wasn't a pretty big fall so there were no serious injuries. However the fall was nothing compared to the embarrasing stares I had to endure from this incident. Well I think I'll be off hibernating for the moment being, trying to recover from my minor wounds and utter humiliation. Stay safe love!

a few months away spoiled with the warmth of tropical weather have made me completely forgotten how cruel winter can be over here. Plus the fact that I haven't fully recovered from my jet lag yet has certainly messed up my whole human body clock...terrific!! At least even though there's no sign of a temperature rise anytime soon, the snowing has somewhat stopped and it's starting to slightly melt away. I guess now I need not to worry on accidentally slipping while wandering around the cold and windy streets :)

Channeling Miroslava Duma

The last time I tried channeling someone would have been the lovely Ms. Palermo and it was no doubt plenty of fun. So this time around I thought of making another attempt by channeling another fashion influence of mine, the oh so awesome Miroslava Duma. For those who don't know who she is...where have you been??? Thinking that I have the audacity to try and channel the stunning Miro. So how has 2010 been treating you folks so far??
sad to say mine started out pretty rough..
we've had a major incident in the family but I'd rather not go into details..
it was definitely a wake up call which made us realize how grateful we should always be for what we have and certainly brought us together and even more stronger but I just hope that this incident will be the last of any bad things we might encounter in the days to come..AMEN!!

7. The Fashion Book

If you're into fashion then this book is perfect for referencing and inspiration as it covers designers, fashion icons, photographers, models and many others involved in the industry. Even though it's an old book and its take on fashion may not be that up to date, the book itself provides basic knowledge on fashion. The book is a definite must have for those interested in fashion.

Meet nature and its secret...

Today's post will be slightly different from the usual outfit or fashion related post. so here goes...
Last week I went for a quick getaway to Hanoi, Vietnam. it was my first time there and I must say that it was such a cultural experience. the city itself was nothing grand. there were practically no skyscrapers in sight. however, even though the city may have reflected such simplicity, it showed that it's most certainly rich in character. our itinerary there included visiting a bunch of temples, museum, water puppet show, a taste of some Pho and a trip to Ha Long Bay. the last destination has got to be the highlight of my entire trip. it took more or less a 3 hour drive to get to this UNESCO world heritage site but it was definitely well worth it. the view was indescribably stunning. I also went inside their enormous caves which contains massive stalactites and stalagmites, as much as I hate to say this but their cave turned out to be more amazing compared to the ones i've visited before in Slovenia called the Skojcan Caves. ooohh the beauty of nature :)

I do hope that I don't bore you with these travel stories but I have this thing for traveling and visiting various of diverse places somehow just excites me. hopefully this was insightful though :)

wine and dine with the gals have always been super fun!! what wasn't so much fun though was getting home at 1 am, still with loads of packing to be done, no sleep whatsoever and having to catch an early flight at 6 in the morning...what a drag!! as exhausted and cranky I was, at least I'm back now up on my cozy bed and can finally catch up on some reading...

of course I'm not surprise with Anna's incredible dedication to VOGUE..She is just pure brilliant!!

of course aside from making our usual visit to the grandparents house, we also went batik hunting for most part of the trip..

after searching the highs and lows of both cities, Jogjakarta and Solo, I was finally familiarize with the different patterns of batik..mostly common ones though seeing that there are sooo many variations out there..
it turned out to be quite the learning experience!!
FYI for those interested in knowing more about batik and happens to be in Solo should definitely check out "Museum Batik Danar Hadi"..

Odd one out...

I'm such a sucker for blockbuster movies..good and bad ones!
even if they do get bad reviews, often I tend to not really care and opt to watch it anyways..
well that's exactly what I did this past weekend..
despite hearing mixed reviews, I still went ahead and watched "2012"
honestly I've already prep myself for the worse, a typical "war of the worlds" of 2009 and apparently it was..
although I'll give credit to "2012" for giving a slightly better ending than "war of the worlds".

Basically the movie was quite grandiose for my taste..
some of the scenes were ridiculously unrealistic..plain and simple it was way over the top!!
the storyline itself definitely lacked in substance and was such a cliche..
you can tell that the film mainly focused on explosions and special effects rather than providing an interesting background story..

But who are we kidding..these types of movies are meant for pure entertainment pleasure only so it's really unnecessary for us to bring our brains whatsoever ;P
quite frankly, there's no point in making a big fuss about it and let the millions spent on this movie go to waste..
I'd say we might as well enjoy all that CGI bonanza and leave it at that!!

Moving on now..did anyone experienced some trouble accessing blogspot this weekend???
well I certainly did..I couldn't seem to open other blogspot blogs let alone my own..
however it seems that everyone else was able to visit my blog because I kept on receiving comment notifications in my email which was extremely odd..
for a moment, it was actually quite irritating being completely clueless and all but whatever the problem was..I'm sure glad that it's fixed and everything is functioning like normal now!

I was browsing through my laptop and so happen to stumble upon an old picture of Olivia Palermo which I've used before on a previous post. For those who aren't familiar with her, you can find out more about her in my old post.
well no doubt about it I ultimately adore her sense of style..she always looks very well-put together yet still fashionable..so in order to amuse myself I have decided to do something different with this post and made an attempt to channel her chic style..
I know.. a bit daring isn't it?! [haha..]
Honestly it was quite tricky considering that she tends to lavishly dress herself with high end designs while I, on the other hand, had to work with what I've got laying in my closet.
Oh well..it was certainly fun though playing dress up =D
any celebs/models/style icons etc. etc. that you would like to daringly channel??

These pictures are hideous...I know!! They're out of focus, slightly blurry etc etc..Well the thing is my oh so awesome photographer/friend and I have parted ways meaning there will be no one I can count on for pictures anymore booohooo..In order to get the job done obviously I could only rely upon myself and my stubborn tripod..
Honestly I don't know how you other bloggers do it!! It seriously takes hard work and patience..It practically took me about 3 hours just to set and adjust the camera..As you can see, the result is far from perfect..
Unfortunately I guess these will have to do for now..At least until I've mastered the proper use of a camera and tripod..or quite possibly managed to find someone who can fill the vacant spot haha..[not likely]
Perhaps any of you got tips on self-picture taking maybe?? well I'm all ears...=D

It definitely is..I was like being given the rare opportunity to watch the great MJ work his magic backstage live during his tech rehearsals..The music, singing, dancing and overall performance was something you would expect from a superstar of his calibre..His dancers were extremely incredible..I'm glad the talented Mischa Gabriel is a part of it..Oh how I can only hope to break out and dance like them but I can't help it, all I was able to do is start to awkwardly bob my head to each of his songs haha..
As the words of Barney Stinson it was pure Legen..[wait for it]..Dary!!

what a terrible blogger I've been!!! I mean really...gone missing for a month!
well here's an update for all you readers out there (whoever you are..if any..;P)
+ yes I'm still alive and well...
+ I've been busy with fall cleaning (if there is such thing) and some packing..
Turns out to be a lot of hard work and since I'm very detailed when it comes to the state of my belongings it makes it twice the work and time...booohooo!!
+ I'm such a hoarder..I've come to realize that I love to collect junks and so got plenty of them stashed in my room..Luckily I stumbled upon a few pieces that I totally forgot about, some of which are still wearable..
+ It so happens that making time to rearrange your wardrobe is such a nice therapy..you know the feeling when you have days where you don't have anything to wear?? well as I was cleaning out my closet it seriously made me think why in the world would that even come across my mind. I know it was probably a spur of the moment but I've got a bunch of clothes some I literally haven't even worn yet. But why do I still feel the need to go out and shop?? Is it the rush we thrive from shopping or simply the pleasure we get being able to own a particular item?? oh well who knows..all I'm aware of is that I'm lacking major closet space at the moment for that I need to cut down on shopping and be more creative in the art of "mix and match"..wish me luck on this one =D

OK so enough with all the rambling..Did anyone happen to see the latest episode of "The Amazing Race" last Sunday??
well it so happens that one of its destination was a little town I'm currently residing in..seriously like where was I when all the action went down!! I completely LOVE The Amazing Race and has high hopes to someday be a part of it which I consider to be very unlikely..so obviously it would've been nice to be able to see the action live in person..I know it sounds pathetic 'rite haha..

Just recently watched "My sister's Keeper". Tearjerker alert!! That movie is so melodramatic that it practically turned the whole theater into a cry fest..no joke!! Be sure to prepare loads of tissues because it's such an extremely touching and emotional film. Seriously, more or less a half an hour into the movie someone had already started to weep and by the end of it practically everyone was sobbing, yes guys and girls. Even my guy friend couldn't help it and secretly shed a bit of his own tears aaaawwww....[haha!! I love it when guys aren't afraid to show their emotions ;p]
However what amazes me the most was that despite the heavy sobs that took over the whole audience I for some strange reason couldn't even manage to drop a single tear. Wooaahh reality check!! Apparently I have no soul...

Thank God!! The ladies are back and they're looking fab..I'm a die hard SATC fan so I'm definitely looking forward to its sequel. Recently the movie has just started production while the storyline is still kept a mystery. Fashion wise I'm really anxious on what exciting wardrobes Patricia Field is going to whip up. What I personally miss most though is the atmosphere of New York city itself. Even though they'll be filming scenes abroad, hopefully we can still capture the ambiance of NYC considering that its become one of its most influential characters. Its been also said that we can expect to see a couple of cameos so that should be interesting. Well since the sequel is scheduled to premiere not until next year, I guess for now we just have these sneak peek photos of the upcoming movie to enjoy from... ;p

To officially mark the end of our summer break I decided to head to Poland with a couple of friends..We did a bunch of touristy things..went to the beach, eat, sightseeing, eat, shopping, eat HahaHa...Life was great!!
What I fell in love with most is their food and best of all it's way cheaper!! Woohooo cheers to that...
The trip definitely exceeded any of our expectations..here are some pictures for show ;p

This has got to be the hottest day of summer yet I was foolish enough to dress myself in a not so well suited attire to go against the scorching sun. Everyone else who dressed accordingly to the occasion seemed to gracefully embrace the beautiful weather with their cute summer dresses, short skirts, cut off jeans and tanks. While I personally couldn't handle the heat but was to lazy to head back and change. ooohhh well..that's what I deserve for not consulting with Mr. weather report before heading out the door.

I know that it's still too early for this but have a delightful weekend!!

I'm extremely ecstatic that "The Rachel Zoe Project" has been picked up for a second season. I definitely can't wait to be entertained by her iconic catchphrases and the madness that's going to break loose around the Zoe camp.

Rachel Zoe is probably one of the most influential fashion stylist to date. I personally adore her vintage, dramatic and glamorous style. She's been in the business for more/less 15 years and has worked with celebrities such as Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton, Lindsay Lohan, Cameron Diaz, Keira Knightley, Liv Tyler, Demi Moore, Anne Hathaway and the list goes on.

I've been a big fan of her show since it aired. Her show has somewhat broadened my perspective on the true meaning of what a fashion stylist is. It's not just about picking clothes but it's more about creating a look. I admire her profession and how passionate she is about it. For the upcoming season, you can expect cameos starting from Giorgio Armani, John Galliano, Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld, Giambattista Valli, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Matthew Williamson, among others. With big names like those, I'm convinced that its going to be an exciting second season.

So be sure to tune in for the second season of "The Rachel Zoe Project"!! I know for sure that Rachel Zoe is definitely going to shut it down...
